Narelle Hammond-Robertson commenced her dog showing career at the age of seven years exhibiting her grandfather's German Shepherd Dogs and her parent's Welsh Corgi (Pembroke). In 1979, she embarked on her own career with the magnificent and unique Australian Cattle Dog.

Under the Kombinalong prefix, Narelle has bred and exhibited many champions to date, the most well known of which is Ch Kombinalong Super "K" who has accumulated a record breaking 20 Best in Shows, 21 Runner Up to Best in Show, won Best in Show at the Australian Breeds Bi-Centennial Spectacular in 1988 and has amassed over 3,500 Challenge points, his son and first Australian Cattle Dog in the world to be Aust/American/Mexican/Belize/Guatemalan. Inter Ch Kombinalong Super Impact, half brother Aust/New Zealand/American/Mexican. Canadian/Belize/Guatemalan/International Ch Kombinalong Stryk Super and Multi BIS/BISS Grand Ch Kombinalong Super Octane who had 9 BIS/BISS and record breaking14 Royal Challenges at 7 years of age. Also two top winning bitches BISS Ch Kombinalong C’est Super, a multi Specialty winner and Royal CC winner and Ch Kombinalong Truly Super a multi In Group/ In Show winner and Royal CC winner. Currently campaigning Ch Kombinalong Super Tramp (Res CC Puppy in Group Sydney Royal 2003 – multi Group placer and Class in Show winner, All breeds and Specialty) Ch Kombinalong Supercharmed (Bitch CC Sydney Royal 2003 multi Class in Show winner at All breeds and Specialty) Ch Kombinalong Super Pinot (multi Class in Group, Class in Show winner All breeds and Specialty) and Kombinalong OO Super (multi Specialty and All breeds Class in Show winner)

As well as her beloved Australian Cattle Dog, Narelle co-owns with her husband Ken a multi BIS/multi Group winning Champion Dobermann. She has also groomed and handled many breeds in the Working Group such as the German Shepherd Dog, Welsh Corgi Pembroke, Shetland Sheepdog, Australian Kelpie and Border Collie, and outside the Working Group she as bred and handled Fox Terriers both Wire and Smooth, handled Dachshunds, Afghan Hounds, Dalmatians, Rottweilers, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Miniature Pinschers and Siberian Huskies.

An accomplished author Narelle has written for TFH Publications "The Australian Cattle Dog" which has sold to date worldwide some 50,000 copies. In 1996 she wrote and published, "The Australasian Dobermann", a 416 page history of the Dobermann in Australia and New Zealand, and "The New Owners Guide to the Australian Cattle Dog" book, which was released in July 1999. She is currently working on a new book on the Australian Cattle Dog which will be an indepth study of the breed.

Licensed All Breeds judge. To date Narelle has judged in several States of Australia (except NT), New Caledonia, United States of America, Canada, Thailand, United Kingdom, Ireland, Finland, Philippines and New Zealand.
