50 plus champions to date, and exported to 14 countries worldwide.
Kombinalong
Australian Cattle Dogs commenced in 1979 with the purchase of an Australian Cattle
Dog as a companion/show dog. Narelle Hammond-Robertson immediately fell in love
with the breed and over the past 22 + years has established herself and her kennels
as one of the leading Australian Cattle Dog kennels worldwide.
Her
love of the breed has lead her to write two books specifically written with the
new Australian Cattle Dog owner in mind. She has judged the breed in nearly every
state of Australia as well as New Zealand, New Caledonia, Canada and the United
States of America where she judged the largest entry of Australian Cattle dogs
to date world wide at the 2000 Australian Cattle Dog Club of America national
specialty in Greeley Colorado.
The Australian Cattle Dog is unfortunately plagued with congential disorders
and Narelle is a staunch advocate of congential testing. Narelle is past Chairperson of the Hereditary Diseases Committee of the Tasmanian Canine Association
Inc (affiliated body of the Australian National Kennel Council Inc).
